You've made me google it now to check I'm not going mad!

The Enormous Turnip! :D Did no-one else read this? You were deprived, definitely.

I'm not actually sure whether I've eaten turnip or not. I remember it being mentioned as a food-stuff when I was younger, though I used to get it confused with swede. I think I might have eaten it - I have vague memories of eating cubes of turnip mixed in with cubes of swede - turnip being white and...

Random chatter

Today has so far mostly been spent introducing Cerys fans to the way of the Oob. Ah, brainwashing fun!

Shorley Wall seems to have been unsurprisingly popular! :D

Re: Space fans

I know there are one or two cos the Oob and Space boards have overlapped at times. Yep, that would be me! :D I really like Dust - infact I think they were one of the bands I recommended in a thread I started recently. I might have to wait until payday, but am definitely interested in buying their '...

Thanks Seany - I shall check out your recommendations :) Does anyone else use Soulseek by the way? The singer from my band had the first dance at his wedding to a tune that starts "baby this night, this night is ours" and it is a proper good tune. Cool! :D The song's called 'Baby This Night' infact!...

Music Recommendations

Ok, here's my attempt at getting some conversation going again! It's always good to check out some new music, so how about people recommend 10 bands/artists that other people aren't so likely to have heard of? Here are mine, in no particular order: 1. Radio Luxembourg 2. Tough Love 3. The Pierces 4....

I'm lurking too. My brain's been unable to think up riveting topics of conversation. Or even non-reveting topics, to be honest.

Also, Dogs Die In Hot Cars have been featuring on my CD player lately. Yes yes! I'd back that recommendation up! :D Please Describe Yourself was one of my favourite albums of 2004! Hmm, apparently my 4th favourite infact, though only because there were a lot of great albums released that year. Am g...

I'm not sure if we spoke much either, but yeah I've been around a while. Seany appears now and again and Leeree's still about. Occasionally other people will appear briefly and go 'wow, I haven't been here for ages!' and then disappear again!! There are some newish people too as you probably n...

I do! It's been totally fine with the washing machine - nothing's fallen off or anything. The only problem I've had is with actually wearing it. I've got one of the womens skinny-fit ones, which is great in that the top's designed to be clingy and stretch to fit you - however those gold letters real...

I'm not big on hats generally - I don't think they suit me. I do have a Space (as in the band) beanie type hat that I'm rather fond of though :)

Although I logged in to that particular dating site today, to read through some old messages for inspiration/a-bit-of-a-laugh and they've all been deleted!! :o Presumably just because I haven't logged on in a few weeks. Aw, harsh! It has a bit of a cheesy 80s vibe, but I like it. It's scarily catchy - it keeps getting stuck in my head.

And hmm, an anti-love song with animal noises! Genius. It's all coming together...
