MySpace takes out some puctuation and makes you look like an idiot. It also limits your review to 2000 characters. I posted my review there anyway, but here is the full, uncut version. Ooberman Carried Away Rotodisc Surely this is the epitome of ‘bittersweet’; Ooberman’s songs have long possessed th...

BRILLIANT! :D The combining of Dan ands Andy's talents more equally across an album work perfectly. I love Crashing Ellipticals (this album's masterpiece). I also love Easy, and Mary Grows Old. Only gripe is really that of course this is kind of a mini album with the old tracks Lavender Blue, Bong, ...

Wow, I'm so happy to hear the news of ooberman's return! So glad I cam here to check out what's going on.. only to find this thread, where people are having a heated discussion that, if held in real life would probably break out in a fist fight!  ahhh, it's just like old times........ :) Good to ha...

That's a point - Where are ye the band formerly/briefly known as Ox Bow Lake? Is the new Oob record an amalgamation of that record and some Dan Pop songs? Not that such a record would be a bad thing, it'd be, well - Ooberman! Just wondering.

Yeah Beeswax there's a thought... time to brush down those old DAT tapes and search.  Any other requests for rare and long forgotten tracks? Just working on some new tracks, Andy's guitar last night and Sophie's vocals today on 'Carried Away'.  I had a horrific thought today that it was the same tu...

Remember my plug of these guys? Well my predictions are coming true - they've been signed, and spent the past few months recording their debut in LA. Their site is no longer built around geocities! And there are songs on there for you to listen to. I urge to to keep it bookmarked; they are destined ...

It's totally worthy of a thread. Kula Shaker were great, then Crispian Mills got too big for his boots and the press decided to take them down a peg. Still had good tunes tho. They were a truely innovative band, like Ooberman, and got a bad name cos nobody could be bothered to work out how to fit th...

It will not set the world alight.
Some songs are quite good.
But I don't think PD is quite as talented and worthy of so much pres as some people thought.
Glad the album leaked; curiosity satisfied.

The woodland creatures were bored, and the forest was becoming overcrowded, so they came up with a plan: A joke telling competition, where you lose your life if not everyone finds your joke funny... All the creatures assembled and the first up on stage was a squirrel. The squirrel was pretty nervous...
