T Shirt tips?

Guys, was wondering if you have any tips on where to get bulk, reasonably priced T Shirts printed with your own designs. Nice girls and boys ones. Any idea where bands get the from? I found some sites, but I have a feeling they're not the best deals out there... cheers

On a par with Carried Away - ie a brilliant colection of songs. However - as albums go, I think The first three Oob records (inc Runnig Girl (you could even add Shorley wall EP if you like)) were more conceptual - they held together better song to song. (Of course, nothing can really be compared to ...

Wuthering Heights / Some People...

Listening to the brilliant Some People by Ooberon, I couldn't help recalling Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush - the chorus especially.

Then I got to thinking - who better to cover this classic than Ooberman, with Sophia on lead vocals! Instant radio hit I'd say!

He means Andy from Midget - on whose forum I asked the same question - see www.insall.co.uk/midget I am itching to tell people exactly what my project is, but it's just not quite ready for that yet... I have to at least wait for the TradeMark to come through before I can say the name :( We're talkin...

£5,000 to record an album?

Hi people can I call on your collective wisdom for the good of great music everywhere for a second please? I am in the process of setting up an organisation that will give bands the chance of £5,000 to make a record. What I need to know is: 1: Is it possible for a band to record a full album with a ...

thanks for the replies, I'm advertising my forthcoming foray into running a record company. Watch this space, I promise you will hear about it. I had put aside £3,000 for ads in music mags, hoping that'd be enough for 3 full or at least half page ads in music mags. But I think I'm waaaay off!! Ah, w...

Dan Pop - how much does an ad in NME cost?

Dan, or anyone else who can shed light - can you tell me how much various size adverts cost in NME, Q, Uncut etc? I know Ooberman have placed NME ads before, I remember Beany Bean being in there I think... or maybe BlueBell Morning EP. (or was it 'win a Brat, get a free ad... somehow I think I know ...

The 2 album idea is a good one, with the ropey rarities disc being marketed as such, and as limited. I think |I speak for Oob fans in saying that we want to hear even the ropey stuff, and we'd be willing to pay for it. It doesn't have to be a big enough release to pick up unwanted bad press. And by ...

Nice one Dan - don't listen to those saying 2008 is too long - good music takes time, we all know that. Rather a great album than a hastily released one.

I reckon they picked the name before it was confirmed that Ooberman would return, so they would be the pheonix rising from the ashes of Ooberman, ie, there was a dark time when the music was OoberOFF but now it's back OoberON ROCKON :D :D :D :D

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Guys! You are fantastic! It's all fixed now. One problem was that I use Firefox, and the tiny text really didn't show up unless I used Explorer. I played Ooberman on my radio show!

I work for a youth club, and they have a radio show on SKFM (south kilburn FM), no kids turned up today so I had to step in. They always usually fill the airways with Grime and Hip Hop, but today I brought some good tunes to Da Street! Halfway through I played Beany Bean, and I ended with Crashing E...
